Join Rona Main and myself for an evening of Yoga in the great outdoors to celebrate the Summer Solstice on Midsummers night (Friday 21st June from 7 pm).
We'll enjoy some energising outdoor yoga including a meditation to celebrate the longest day and to tune into the height of the Sun's energy on the Earth's solar path. After our practice, healthy home bakes will be provided so please do bring a flask with a hot drink to enjoy along with.
This event follows the success of last year's event. We were blessed with beautiful weather. It was very special evening with a fantastic group coming together to appreciate yoga, nature and the simplicity of being outdoors. We hope for this same this year!
The evening will start with a sequence of yoga postures, moving in time with the breath, followed by a guided meditation (wrapped in a cosy blanket) to appreciate and send gratitude for our surroundings.
The yoga practice is suitable for all ages and abilities (pregnant ladies also welcome), and no previous Yoga experience is necessary.
The event will take place at the 'Back 'O' Bennachie' picnic area which is a quiet, spacious, grassy spot surrounded by the ancient geological and natural history of the Bennachie mountain range.
There is plenty of parking and even some handy but all important toilets.
The area, managed by The Forestry Commission, can be found off the B9002 close to Oyne, past Inverurie and before Insch.
Directions can be found here:- https://forestryandland.gov.scot/visit/back-o-bennachie
Naturally this event is weather dependent and we will inform you if anything changes.

The cost of the event is £15 p/p and please click on the booking link on this events page to book.
If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to get in touch. We very much hope to see you there,
