Lis Barron of 'Prana Mama Yoga' has come together with Fiona Morris of ‘The Physiotherapy & Pilates Company’ to offer a morning of Pilates and Yoga to support you, your body and your baby during the Postnatal period.

Learn how to move and exercise safely with Pilates and Yoga, honouring the physiological changes taking place in your body and to help you recover from 9 months of pregnancy, birthing and now as you care for your new baby.
Learn how to look after your posture and strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles, as well as being shown how to carry out a personal check of your abdominal muscles.
Understand the importance of rest and relaxation and learn useful breathing and meditation techniques to support you during this time.
A light refreshment break and lunch is included and will give you the opportunity to meet and chat with other like-minded postnatal and expecting mums.
We are aware that leaving your new baby for an extended period of time isn’t always easy and very much depends on individual circumstances. Above all, this session is for you and with this in mind please feel free to attend this session as suits you - come alone, with your baby or have your baby with you for part of the session. We’re also happy for you to bring along a companion if you feel it might be helpful.
Overall, our aim is for you to leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and empowered!
